United Arab Emirates is located in the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf, bordering Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the south. The country is a federation of 7 emirates, Dubai, Sharjah, Abudhabi (Capital), Ajman, Umm ul Quain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah. Each emirate is ruled by one of the Ruling Sheikh Families. It is an Islamic estate and Arabic is the mother language used there. UAE’s oil reserves are the seventh largest in the world while its natural gas reserves are the seventeenth largest. Oil was found by collaboration of UAE and British government that changed the fate of UAE. By 1966 they obtained freedom from the British governments hold and became independent.

Dubai is the largest and most popular city in the United Arab Emirates. Dubai known as the Hub of United Arab Emirates in terms of business and globalization. Dubai took an early development through its oil reserves. Due to less reserves and low production, today less than 5% of the emirates come from Oil. Its economy now relies on the revenues of Tourism, Aviation and Real Estate. Dubai has gained attention in the world through massive construction projects, sports events and to be specific the Burj Khalifa which is currently the tallest building in the world and is a major attraction to the World.

Dhabi" is the Arabic name of a particular species of native gazelle that was once common in the Arabian region. Abu Dhabi means father of the "Dhabi" (gazelle). It is thought that this name came about because of the abundance of Gazelles in the area and a folk tale involving Shakhbut bin Dhiyab al Nahyan.[7] His brother, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, saw that oil wealth had the potential to transform Abu Dhabi. The ruling Al Nahyan family decided that Sheikh Zayed should replace his brother as ruler and carry out his vision of developing the country. On August 6, 1966, with the assistance of the British, Sheikh Zayed became the new ruler.[8]
